This policy outlines procedures to prohibit smoking in the workplace and applies to all employees.

This sample states that a company promote a smoke free environment. It outlines all buildings affected by this policy, some of which include: inside all facilities owned, leased, or operated by the company, including (but not limited to) such space as offices, conference rooms, corridors, dining areas, restrooms, and common areas. This prohibition also includes all vehicles owned, leased, or operated by the company. The executive management may also designate certain outdoor areas - especially entranceways - smoke-free. In addition, this policy discusses tobacco sales, as well as smoking cessation programs.
