The following sample outlines a set of policies and procedures for an internal transfer or job posting.
The purpose of this policy is to help foster a workplace where qualified employees are encouraged to seek various career opportunities, gain valuable work experience, enhance their competencies and increase job satisfaction. According to this policy, first consideration should be given to qualified employees by transferring or promoting from within whenever possible. In addition, vacancies within the company should be posted internally and human resources should distribute the company job posting to all human resources departments system-wide.
