The purpose of this sample policy is to affirm that the company will not tolerate verbal or physical conduct by any employee that harasses, disrupts or interferes with another’s work performance or creates an intimidating, offensive or hostile environment. Harassment by any employee based on race, color, religion, age, sex, gender, national origin, ancestry, disability or veteran status is prohibited and will not be tolerated. The company will take appropriate measures in response to any incident that is reported.
This document outlines a set of policies and procedures for investigating and reporting harassment in the workplace, and can be used as a general guide to understand and review the harassment policies and procedures.
